Physio & Health Matters was set up by me...
Physio & Health Matters was set up by me in May 2000 at a time of change in my life. Over the years it has developed into a thriving practice, where the key objective of providing a quality professional service to our local community has been the primary focus. Clinically I have a keen interest in the sacro iliac joint and the spine in general. I feel the sacro iliac area has been a poorly understood area historically and to help with the understanding of this part of the anatomy I am in the process of writing a course for my fellow colleagues to simplify it, and remove the fears around it. Since July of 2012 with the aid of a loyal and hard working team I have set up a satellite clinic in Bannerbrook Pharmacy in Bannerbrook, Coventry. At the moment I am in the process of setting up another satellite clinic in Stratford Upon Avon at the Circle Clinic which will open to clients very soon; just watch this space. My ambition is to open 6 clinics in total which will all provide a very high standard of care to all our clients. My personal goal is to get better at my Asthanga Yoga and get to the gym at least 4 times a week and join the local tennis club to improve my game.

I have a particular interest in Neuro-musculoskeletal Physiotherapy...
Hi, I’m Amie. I graduated from the University of Birmingham in July 2009 where I was awarded a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and have worked at Physio and Health Matters since I qualified. In that time I have grown both personally and professionally. I have a particular interest in neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapy and enjoying treating all manner of problems from the spine to the knee! I have recently completed a course in acupuncture which now allows me to practice the discipline and has qualified me to register with the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP). As the practice continues to grow I am looking forward to the exciting opportunities ahead! In my spare time I enjoy socialising with friends, watersports and spectating at live motorsport events to help me relax and unwind! I achieved my black belt in Taekwondo some years ago but unfortunately stopped training when I was studying; I hope that I may return to it in the not so distant future.

Hi I’m Adriana, I am currently in the process of obtaining my degree in marketing management. I entered the industry at a very early age collaborating on projects with YouTube and digital marketing promotion of various beauty, fashion and health related brands. I enjoy video production and post-production as I find it to be a great way to show my creativity.  Through my years of experience I have hosted numerous digital marketing lectures and workshops for companies such as BBC, University College Birmingham, Salford University and more. In my free time I love being on the go! I spend a lot of my time working out, taking walks with my friends or cooking healthy meals at home.
